Hurricane Ike left us, and millions of others, without electricity. It is one thing to only have to worry about yourself being hot, it is a whole different story when you have a 3.5 month old involved. My Aunt Susan and Uncle Ig were nice enough to let us use their awesome lakehouse in Gun Barrel City for as long as we wanted. The Hurricane Ike evacuation crew included, The Haley family, Mimi Angelo, The Depoy Family and the Elliott Family. We had so much fun playing games, fishing and hanging out. Attached are a few photos of the yougest "evacuees". The last picture is Annemarie wearing her first pair of shoes her Great Aunt Karen bought for her!!

I am so glad you guys all survived the storm. Now that it's over I need a vacation! I drove thru the neighborhood to chk on your houses, but was too busy to stop and say hi.
