I hit my 6.5 month mark today so I celebrated by eating about 10 Oreo cookies. Nice. I had a doctors appt last Monday and all looks good. I am measuring right on target and my blood pressure was 122/70. Chad and I are scheduled for our 3D ultrasound on February 29th and we are VERY excited about that. We traveled to Mississippi this weekend to visit my dad's side of the family and had a wonderful time. We (Candace and Matt were there too) were even thrown a surprise baby shower! It was a great surprise and so sweet.
A few funny things happend to me in the Jackson Airport today:
1) Chad and I were checking in and the clerk as me " How far are you?" I answered "Oh, we are just going to Texas." She looked at me like I was crazy and and said "No sweetie, how far ALONG are you?" I felt like such an idiot!!!
2) We went into a shop so Chad could get a magazine and I was browsing at the food magazines (big surprise) and I commented outloud how the roast beef sandwich on the cover of a magazine looked good. The clerk heard me and came over and rubbed my belly and said "I bet all food looks good to you at this point." It was funny.
3) The flight attendant had to check to see if I was able to sit in the exit row of the plane. She said she had never had a pregnant lady sit there before. I told her I was fine to assist other customers, if needed, and she assured me that I would be helped first.
So....in about 1 hour I had 3 airport employees comment on my pregnancy. Prior to today, I have only had one lady at the gym ask me how far along I was. It was a very interesting day.

Nice! You finally hit the double digits on the countdown! OMG- it is going by so fast.
That clerk is lucky I wasn't the preggo she commented about wanting food and touching my belly. Just reading this made me want to smack her! But it is fun when people start commenting on the pregnancy - it makes it more real.
wait till people start telling you look like you are carrying twins. that always made me really happy... and the oreo cookie thing? i could finish off a whole box of thin mints in about 2 seconds straight.
